Harvest schedule
Our first cut for hay is typically in early May, while the grass is in the late boot stage (depending on the weather). Second cut is in late July, to early August. If there is a third cut, that happens in late September.
We produce 4’x5’ round double-wrapped bales and are wrapped and stored when moisture levels are between 15-17%. This helps prevent mold and rot, as well as fire prevention, while also retaining more of the nutrients before it is too dry.
If you are interested in hay from a specific cut or would like to reserve bales from the next cut, please contact us below. Please check out our partnership page for additional options.
