Harvest schedule

We offer a blend of Timothy and Bermuda grass as a two in one solution. Timothy is a higher-fiber hay with relatively low protein which is easily digestible for your horses and cows. it also has the additional benefit of preventing gastric ulcers.

The Bermuda grass has a higher protein level which can help sustain your herd through the winter.

Our first cut for hay is typically in early may, in the late boot stage (depending on the weather). Second cut is in late July, to early August. If there is a third cut, that happens in late September.

We produce 4’x5’ round double-wrapped bales and are wrapped and stored when moisture levels are between 15-17%. This helps prevent mold and rot, as well as fire prevention, while also retaining more of the nutrients before it is too dry.

If you are interested in hay from a specific cut or would like to reserve bales from the next cut, please contact us below. Please check out our partnership page for additional options.
